Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company in the Northern Italy's largest industrial location. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, various types of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
In 1963, the business began crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
