End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These machinery have superior performance features which are quite comparable to sit-down electric forklift models.
These lift truck units are ideal for warehouse settings which have limited space. The space required to operate these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These machines are an ideal alternative for applications that require frequent off and on access, because their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading device used by various companies that maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers simple and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for people who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require for immediate use in an efficient and safe way.
The standard reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks also have a hydraulic system which allows the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only offers more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
