The narrow aisle lift truck has been manufactured to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the aisle width. Yale makes the single reach NR and double reach NDR units that are utilized for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has different control handle and stance configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations that meet a variety of operations and the aft stance, a choice of fore or side-stance options also.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology offers fast lifting speeds along with strong acceleration and deceleration. It has been designed for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of loads moved in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To greatly enhance the overall throughput and production, Yale provides industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: Though regenerative lowering could lessen battery changes per shift it also functions to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence greatly reduces energy. The operator could adjust the steering tiller and the technician could adjust the steer effort in order to lessen operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically initiate.
Order Selectors: The very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks are also referred to as order pickers. These equipment are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the load and the operator to its required height. This height can be more than 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are usually guided by rail or wire when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
