Carelift Zoom Boom San Antonio

Carelift Zoom Boom San Antonio

Rough terrain forklifts have been produced by CareLift Equipment, since 1962. Every day the company strives to deliver value and help all their consumers reach their objectives since they know the bottom line is performance and reliability.

There are 2 general kinds of boom lifts. These units are straight boom lifts and articulated boom lifts. Normally, these models are powered hydraulically. Most often straight booms are the great option for tasks that need a high reach with no obstructions. The turntable on the equipment can rotate 360 degrees with an extendable boom. This extendable boom is able to be vertically raised to below horizontal. Since the operator could steer and maneuver the vehicle while the boom is completely extended, it is a versatile machinery. These units come in propane, gas or diesel configurations as well as 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive.

Articulated boom lifts are utilized for lifting cargo up and over obstacles and gain access to areas that were otherwise not accessible. These lift units carry out tasks that straight telescopic booms cannot do. These lifts are practically identical to the straight boom lift in most aspects except in the boom's ability to articulate. There are different articulation points on the boom in order to enable it to bend in a variety of different directions allowing it to move around any objects easily in the work site.

Some heavy-duty boom lifts come equipped with outriggers in order to maintain stability while the boom lift is fully extended. The outriggers provide the operator with some extra safety and confidence. Correct training is required before operating boom lifts in order to guarantee the operator, the jobsite and everybody working in the vicinity stays safe.

Boom lifts enable tasks that used to need a lot more man hours to be carried out in a much shorter time period. These machines have revolutionized the material handling industry and have really increased production.
