Lull Telehandlers
Ever since the year 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their equipment have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system offers a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete all your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, many attachments have been engineered and developed like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more precisely. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being engineered and made all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices could restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory will compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
